Rhonda Poppen

Grant Dog

Rhonda Poppen, GPC, is an Independent Grant Consultant [GRANTdog] who offers competitive grant insight to organizations from San Francisco, California to the Mid-Atlantic region. She drives positive individual impact through education, hunger relief, workforce development, cancer ‘thrivership’, and homeless grant initiatives. Rhonda began her nonprofit journey as a North-Carolina-based YMCA board member during a challenging recession She soon became grant writer and, later, Development Director for the Y. Based in San Francisco since 2014, she draws from volunteer leadership experience, gained as recent SF Rotary Club President with 150 members strong, to appreciate and better understand the City’s rich diversity and vibrant culture. Rhonda holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington.


Lee Anne Cassidy

Lee Anne Cassidy is a proud member of the Grant Professionals Association and the Grants and Sponsored Programs Coordinator at Williamson College of the Trades in Media, Pennsylvania. In addition, she a director at STEHM, Inc. a nonprofit transitional women’s shelter in Wilmington, DE, and serves as the Grants Chair for their all-volunteer board.
Prior to joining Williamson in 2020, Lee Anne worked at the University of Delaware as a Research Development Specialist helping find grant opportunities for faculty conducting academic research. She is relatively new to the nonprofit world, and spent over 30 years with the DuPont Company in Wilmington in a variety of research-related roles before making the move. Lee Anne holds a B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science, an MBA, and Project Management Certificate all from the University of Delaware.
When she’s not working, Lee Anne enjoys spending time with her family (husband, three grown sons, and very active dog), and as many activities as one can fit into a single day – biking, swimming, walking, skiing, gardening, reading and relaxing on the beach!


Kelly Paustian

Kelly Paustian has worked in the nonprofit sector for much of her career and has spent the last eleven at the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition where she serves as the Senior Administrator. Over the last several years she's had the opportunity to advance her skills in grant writing and management. She has worked with Trish Bachman for quite some time and was thrilled to be asked to join The Write Stuff Delaware team!

During her free time, Kelly loves to garden and spends time in the community theater arena performing and directing. She's married to a wonderful man and they have a 4.5 year old son and a 9 year old shepherd husky rescue pup. She can be reached at


John Baker

John’s first career as a Commercial Banker has enabled him to comfortably blend all sectors and business models, yes nonprofits are businesses that operate purely for charitable purposes. After volunteering with the Literacy Volunteers of America, mentoring adults, he was so impacted that he earned his Master of Public Policy and Administration from Rutgers University, and served a fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School in Public Leadership, he’s served as Executive Director of two statewide NPO/NGOs, mission leader in South Africa, earned and maintained his Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) since 2005, his Grant Professional Certification since 2019, as well as Board Source Certified Trainer, Standards for Excellence Licensure, “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” Certification, as well as Trauma-Informed, and Restorative Practices trainer. John is a marathoner, and enjoys cycling, kayaking, swimming, natural resource management, exploring, reading everything, history, government / Political Science, and global relations.
